In studio, new music coming, and upcoming tour with legends

There is much to discuss! Upcoming Kansas tours alongside rock legends, the latest studio news, and new recording ahead. But first, a request:

If you enjoy my music, please head over to my shop at tombrislin.bandcamp.com and pick up a copy that you OWN. I do my best to make my music available on streaming services, but they aren’t always reliable (and not known for being friendly to independent artists such as myself). Weeks ago, I was playing with Kansas on the 70’s Rock & Romance Cruise, and met up with a…

A look back at 2025: My 7th year with Kansas

2025 was my seventh full year as a member of Kansas. It was a year like no other and our busiest on the road since my first year on tour with the band in 2019. Coming off the highs of our 50th Anniversary tour the year before, the plan was to hit the ground running with a sleek “Kansas Classics” tour that would have us playing all over the US and some of Canada throughout the year.

Back on tour with Kansas + Road Stories

Back on the road with Kansas!

Kansas completed the first leg of our 50th Anniversary Tour, and it was eventful! The shows were tons of fun to play, and while the band endured some unexpected challenges, there were many highlights: former band members joining us on stage at selected shows (including Steve Morse and founding members Kerry Livgren and Dave Hope), the return of guitarist Zak Rizvi to the band, and my good friend Dan McGowan of The Tea Club filling in for Billy Greer on bass for several shows…
